“Nevia”
is the name of a unique type of dance that combines the Body Wise Method technique
with music and movement.
"Nevia” conveys the
unusual sculptural character that is derived from the correct physical sensation
of the body.
This dynamic
sculpting, constantly changing through combinations of movement, precise in
detail, plays with shifting of weight and orientation in space, softly
alternating between release and control.
The dance, based on
the understanding of the mutual relationship between all the body parts, leads
to a "chain reaction" in an infinite flow. The slow pace, typical of this
method, leaves one with a special experience.
Understanding of the
body and the way it is being used, forms the source of the “Nevia” (water
spring)."
